My Premier Demo
Note : My Premier Export and My Premier Import software will work with MYOB Accounting, Premier, and Enterprise. For MYOB Retail Manager, use MY Export and My Import For Programs that can export and import Text Files, use Ex Export and Ex Import For QuickBooks, use Quick Export and Quick Import

Step 1 - Installing software
Download the install program to your desktop (0.4 Mb), click here.
On your desktop, click on the MyPDemo icon to install the software.
Go into the C:\Program Files\MiniPos folder. Left click on the My Premier Export shortcut. Hold down the Ctrl key, and left click on the My Premier Import shortcut and also the other shortcuts. Release the Ctrl key. Right click, Left click on copy, Exit back to desktop. On the desktop, Right click, Left click on paste.
Step 2 - Setting Up your ODBC Data Source Name
1. On your Windows desktop, Click on Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools Click on Data Sources (ODBC)
2. Select the System DSN tab Click Add
3. Select MYOB_ODBC, click Finish
4. Data Source Name: Myob Description: Myob Data
5. Click Browse, and select the location and file name of your Myob Database. eg. C:\Program Files\Premier10\Clearwtr.Myo Click Open
6. User Name: Administrator Password:
7. Developer Access, select Enable Click Browse, and select the location and file name of your Myob Program. eg. C:\Program Files\Premier10\Myobp.Exe Click Open
8. File Access, select Single or Multi Single user requires all users to be logged out of Myob during import Multi user alows users to be logged into Myob during import If Multi user selected, also select Protocol TCP/IP
9. Key Value, leave blank Click OK Click OK Close
Step 3 - Exporting your stock file
Click on the shortcut to My Premier Export. Click on source file text box. select source file - your ODBC Data Source Name, usually Myob. Click on destination file text box. select destination - C:\Program Files\MiniPos File Name - Stock.Txt click Open Click on Continue Demo
A stock file Stock.Txt will be created, in C:\Program Files\MiniPos. In the demo version, only the first 20 items will be included. Click on this file to see these items. Record the product codes for use in Mini Scan Pro and Price Checker. Note: The first column is the product code, second column is barcode.
Step 4 - Stocktaking
Click on the shortcut to Mini Scan Pro. Click on Scan Enter product codes and quantity on hand. Click on Exit
A stocktake file Stocktake.Txt will be created, in C:\Program Files\MiniPos. In the demo version, only 5 items can be counted. Click on this file to see these items.
Step 5 - Updating your MYOB stock file
Click on the shortcut to My Premier Import. Click on Demo Click on the Stocktake File text box. select file - C:\Program Files\MiniPos\Stocktake.Txt Click Open Click on the Stock File text box. select your ODBC Data Source Name, usually Myob. Click Open
Click on Clear When you begin a stocktaking session, select the range of items that you will be adjusting. You can select to clear :- 1. only items counted, 2. all items, or 3. only items from within a selected department. Note :- If you select option 2 or 3, any items not counted will be set to zero.
Click on Import The data imported from the PDA will be accumulated. You can import multiple PDA stocktake files.
Click on Print You can print a variance report to see if your computer stock on hand figures differ from the stocktake. Further stock counts can be imported if necessary, and an updated variance report printed.
Click on Commit When no further stock is to be counted and imported, and required variance reports have been printed, you need to adjust the stock on hand figures in Myob.
Select the GL Account to post the stocktake to.
When finished, the My Premier Import program will close.
Go into MYOB and confirm that the stock on hand quantities have been adjusted.
