Will Mini Scan work with my accounting software ?
Not all accounting software has the ability to talk to hand held devices.
Stocktaking devices have been around for several years. They are generally rugged devices suited to dropping on concrete floors - heavy, maybe four line LCD screen, yet costing between $1500-$4500. They allow the user to enter product codes and quantities, and store the data in a text file to be sent to the computer. (Barcode,Quantity, etc)
Mini Scan stocktaking software creates a similar data file, using a PDA or Smart Phone which costs much less and has many other uses.
Your accounting software may have the ability to import from hand held devices.
